Creating Classrooms Without Boundaries Amplifies the Student Learning Experience
About the Book
Learning and instruction have no boundaries. We have been shown over the past few years that strategies integrated with technology can be utilized anywhere and at any time by teachers and students when we have intentional and research-based strategies integrated with the EdTech tools.
The purpose of Instruction Without Boundaries: Enhance your Teaching Strategies with Technology Tools in Any Setting is to provide K-16 teachers and school leaders with a complete toolkit of research-based instructional strategies integrated with EdTech tools to amplify student learning regardless of whether the classroom is in an online, blended, concurrent, or traditional in-person classroom setting.
One of the book’s major goals is to discuss how research-based instructional strategies integrated with EdTech are essential to amplifying learning. As a result, we want to provide a multi-lens approach to integrating strategies with EdTech tools as well as its implementation. By illustrating the research in relation to the strategies and demonstrating the integration between the instructional strategy and EdTech tool, this book shows step by step how it’s done within classrooms.
Throughout six chapters we demonstrate the strategies that are integrated with EdTech tools to amplify instruction and learning within any setting. Our chapters focus on the following themes that instruction is provided:
Classroom Routines
Engagement
Collaboration
Inquiry and Critical Thinking
Creativity and Innovation
Assessment and Feedback
Each chapter provides many strategies and integrations to build your instructional toolkit that spans any classroom setting to create classrooms and instruction without boundaries!
